Privacy Policy
Who we are
Eat'Less ("the App") is developed and published by an independent individual developer based in Romania ("the developer", "I", "me"). I am the data controller for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Summary
- The App does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email, or any other identifying information.
- Everything you enter stays on your device. I do not operate servers that receive your data.
- The App contains no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking, and it does not sell or share your data.
Data stored on your device
To work, the App saves the following information locally on your device only:
- the times you log meals and the meal type you choose (for example breakfast or snack);
- your selected fasting goal;
- small display preferences.
This information never leaves your device through the App, and I have no access to it. It may be included in your device backups (for example iCloud or iTunes backups) depending on your own device settings, which are governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Network requests
The App downloads its typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.gstatic.com) the first time it runs, and then keeps them on the device. As with any web request, Google receives technical information such as your IP address and device/browser details. No meal data or other content from the App is sent. Apart from this, the App makes no network requests of its own. Links to this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service open in your web browser.
Health information
Meal times can relate to your eating habits. Because this information is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to me, I do not process health data about you.
Legal basis (GDPR)
I do not collect personal data through the App. For the font download described above, the legal basis is my legitimate interest in displaying the App correctly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you contact me, I use your contact details and message only to reply, based on the same legitimate interest, and I delete the correspondence when it is no longer needed.
Your rights and deleting your data
You control all App data. You can remove a logged meal inside the App, and deleting the App from your device permanently erases all of its data.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Because I do not hold App data about you, most requests can be handled directly on your device; for anything else, contact me through the App Store as described above. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In Romania this is the Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (dataprotection.ro).
Children
The App is not directed at children under 16, and I do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
If the App starts to handle data differently, I will update this page and change the effective date above. Significant changes will be noted in the App's release notes.
